Overview
The Rathaus Aalen is undertaking a renovation project. Richter participated in this project in the following capacities: we replaced the existing light systems in the offices with our custom LED linearlight solution. This solution came fitted with acoustically active fabrics for better sound absorption. We also retrofitted the main Hall, replacing the entire halogen lamps fixtures with our energy-efficient LED technology, without altering the historical aesthetics of the space.
The result, a completely modernized space, with better lighting and sound quality, perfect for productive work and imporving the well-being of the occupants. Our solutions also helped in significantly driving down the energy cost incurred from using halogen lamps.
Concerning assembly and shipment, we applied the Richter 90-10 philosophy, to prefabricate the custom solutions within our controlled industrial environment. The components of the solution were then numbered, packaged and shipped to facilitate easy on-site installation.
